Quick answers to the most common questions about my experience, workflow, and fit.
What roles are you targeting
Cinematics Director, Real‑Time Director, Creative Lead, Virtual Production Lead, and roles involving performance‑driven storytelling or real‑time pipelines.
Are you open to hybrid or remote roles
Yes — I’ve led remote‑first teams for years and built systems specifically designed for distributed collaboration.
Do you have AAA experience
Yes — ILM, EA, Unity, and multiple startups where I built pipelines, directed teams, and shaped creative systems.
Do you work well in both small and large teams
Absolutely. I build systems that help small teams move like big ones — and big teams move like aligned ones.
Do you direct mocap sessions
Yes — I’ve directed both traditional mocap and markerless mocap, including body and facial capture.
Do you perform your own mocap
Yes — markerless mocap and UE monocam facial capture allow me to perform, block, and layout scenes myself.
What does “collapsing previs → layout → performance” mean
Traditionally, these were three separate stages handled by different teams. With markerless mocap and UE monocam, I can perform, block, and layout a scene in a single expressive loop. My previs becomes my layout, and my layout becomes my performance.
Do you work with stylized characters
Yes — I built a 2D → stylized 3D pipeline that feeds directly into my real‑time directing workflow.
Do you shape emotional beats
Yes — emotional intention is the foundation of my directing practice. I shape beats through performance, timing, silhouette, and camera.
What engines and tools do you use
Unreal Engine, MetaHuman, markerless mocap systems, UE monocam facial capture, AI‑assisted previs tools, and stylized 2D→3D pipelines.
Do you handle ingestion, cleanup, and retargeting
Yes — I’ve built a pipeline that lets me capture, ingest, clean, and retarget performance.
Do you use AI in your workflow
Yes — as a sketchbook for previs, composition, and early exploration. Emotion still leads.
Do you work in real time
Yes — real‑time iteration is the core of my directing practice.
What’s your leadership style
Emotion‑first, clarity‑driven, and systems‑oriented. I build environments where artists feel empowered, aligned, and supported.
Do you build creative systems
Yes — narrative alignment frameworks, beat‑polish clarity maps, documentation ecosystems, onboarding curricula, and production visibility systems.
Do you mentor or train teams
Yes — I’ve built onboarding systems for real‑time animation, previs, layout, and creative alignment.
How do you collaborate with other departments
Through emotional clarity, shared creative grammar, and predictable iteration loops.
What is your real‑time pipeline built on
Markerless mocap, UE monocam facial capture, MetaHuman performance, AI‑assisted previs, and humane creative systems.
Can your pipeline scale to teams
Yes — it’s designed to empower both solo directors and multi‑disciplinary teams.
Do you work well with animation teams
Yes — my layout and performance workflows are built to support animators with clarity and emotional intention.
Do you build documentation
Yes — I design remote‑first documentation ecosystems that reduce chaos and support alignment.
Are you available for full‑time roles
Yes.
Are you open to contract or consulting
Yes — especially for real‑time pipeline design, creative systems, and directing support.
How soon can you start
Immediately.
Where are you based
Seattle, WA.

Open to relocation for the right role.
