Hello and welcome to my Project 2 page. On this page, you can find my script, podcast, and works cited for this project. My name is Om Patel and in the following podcast, I will be discussing racial inequalities in the field of medicine. My group chose racial inequality in society as our umbrella topic and divided it up into four different aspects. Whether you choose to read my script or listen to my podcast you will be able to see the harsh truth of racial discrimination in medicine and how it can affect people of color regarding insurance, prescriptions, and even day-to-day life. I use many scholarly sources and peer-reviewed journals to engage you, the audience, to bring these issues to light. Included in these sources are experiments and reviews that show that there is a prevalence of discrimination in medical practices. I encourage you to take a couple of minutes out of your day to explore and learn more about this topic in order to help yourself or others around you. Thank you for listening and/or reading my project!
