Her team workshops and leadership coaching programs build strong interpersonal skills and relational/emotional intelligence that companies and individuals need for stability, as well as growth in the midst of a rapidly changing business environment.

Valerie Novack (she/her) is a disability policy researcher with expertise in fostering inclusive infrastructure and improving accessibility practices and compliance. Valerie has dedicated her career to advocating for accessible solutions in transportation, public health, housing, and social participation. Her work journey began at a Center for Independent Living, where she developed a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities to community living, motivating her work in national policy, research, and compliance. Valerie has a bachelor’s degree in disability studies and urban planning from the University of Toledo, followed by a master’s degree in disaster preparedness and emergency management from Arkansas State University.

Particular interest in research to practice and multi-level delivery of technical assistance that is aligned with audience learning preferences. Accomplished project director for complex federally-funded national projects for the US Departments of Education, Health & Human Services, and Transportation. Skilled in engaging diverse audiences, representing diverse perspectives, for strategic planning and to develop coordinated activities that address educational, employment, health, and mobility needs. Experienced in developing performance management systems and program evaluations that assess short and long-term outcomes. Belief in reducing siloes in service delivery that inhibit the full and active participation of individuals with disabilities and older adults in inclusive community settings.
Deborah Hill, BS, MBA
Deborah Hill, BS, MBA, is currently serving as Northeast Ohio Regional Director for Future Plans, The GRIT Project. Ms. Hill assumes a leadership role in constructing an economic and workforce development ecosystem which entails not only building capacity but also fostering collaboration among governmental entities, educational institutions, and local businesses. Previously, Ms. Hill served as the Regional Transit and Mobility Programs Coordinator for ODOT Region 9 through OMEGA, a Regional Transportation Planning Organization. Ms. Hill has nearly a decade of experience coordinating transportation needs within and among counties in Appalachian Ohio.
Mandy White
Mandy White, an Impact Analyst at Ohio University's Voinovich School, brings a decade of experience in rural community and economic development in northeastern Ohio. While assisting nonprofits, government entities, and social enterprises measure and communicate their value to stakeholders, Mandy excels in building organizational capacity for data transparency and fiscal quantification of stakeholder experiences. As part of the Impact Management Team, Mandy specializes in providing solutions for measuring outcomes that have traditionally been challenging to quantify.

Kristy Amy serves as Chief of Programs for the nonprofit Future Plans whose foundational commitment is to significantly impact the end of poverty and advance economic and workforce development in the Appalachian Ohio Region through the development of
actionable career path plans, one person at a time. As core leadership, Ms. Amy facilitates new and innovative ways of considering and coordinating workforce, economic development, people, and skills-building for underserved youth and adult populations in rural and urban Ohio. Ms. Amy constructs and enhances coalitions of organizations, agencies, and people needed to successfully create sustainable community change driven by the belief that through advocacy, collaboration, and teamwork, stronger and healthier communities can be built.
