Swarna Baggani, M.S.

Ms. Baggani obtained a position at i3solutions, Sterling VA, a company that specializes in the fields of Portals and Collaboration, Systems Integration, and Strategic Planning. She will develop and implement web application using current technologies, develop technical solutions from business requirements, and ensure successful completion of solutions that meet project requirements.

Logan Self, B.S.

Logan is a 1st year Master's student in Experimental Psychology at Old Dominion University. He eventually plans on pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. His research interests are in neuroscience, stress/anxiety management, and assessment. His goal is to ultimately conduct research and work in a clinical or school setting with adolescents.

Anna Veprinsky, M.A.

Anna is a 2nd year PhD student in Applied Experimental Psychology. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology; her thesis focused on Stuttering and its mediating factors. Her primary focus is quantitative psychology; specifically, methodological research and application of data simulation and bootstrapping. She is currently working on the effects of missing data on the accuracy of the bootstrapped deattenuated correlation. Her research interests extend to Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), child/adolescent development, and resilience.


Undergraduate Alumni Members

Jessica Burgess

​Jessica is an undergraduate at Old Dominion University majoring in psychology. Her research interested include psychophysiology, aggression, mental illness, and the psychology of sexual minorities. She plans on attending medical school, and pursuing here research interests in a medical setting.

Kevin Cullen

Kevin worked at OmegaLab for over two years. He presented several posters at national and international conventions. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling at Old Dominion University. His areas of interest included statistics, applied behavioral and social psychology.

Ashley Henry

Ashley was a first author on an undergraduate student poster presented at the APA Annual Convention in Hawaii. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree. Her areas of interest included statistics, exceptional children and criminal behavior.

Haley Kaehler

Haley majored in psychology with a minor in management. Upon completion of her Bachelor's degree she obtained a position as a Payroll Administrator. Her areas of interest included statistics and industrial/organizational psychology.

Shelia Manning

Shelia is an undergraduate student at Old Dominion University. She is majoring in psychology with a minor in biology. Shelia plans to attend medical school where she will pursue her doctor of naturopathic medicine (ND) degree. Her area of interests are behavioral and health psychology.

Lorrie Runion

Lorrie is an undergraduate student at Old Dominion University. She is majoring in psychology with a minor in Human Services. Her plans are to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Her interests include interpersonal relationships, social, behavioral, and cognitive psychology.

Shanon Sabo

Shanon is a military veteran and undergraduate student at Old Dominion University double majoring in psychology and biology. She plans on attending medical school, and pursuing a career as a forensic psychiatrist. Her research interests include violent criminal behavior, psychophysiology, behavior genetics, aggression, mental illness, and assessment measures for antisocial behavior/psychopathy.

Stacey Thompson

​Stacey is an undergraduate student at Old Dominion University. She is majoring in psychology. Her intentions are to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a therapist for adolescents and young adults. Her interests include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, biopsychosocial model, and cognitive psychology.

Divya Varier

Divya was a Psychology undergraduate at Old Dominion University. Her favorite psychology topics were reliability/validity and standardized/culture-fair tests. She plans to pursue graduate studies in Experimental Psychology where she hopes to combine her interests in psychometrics, child development, and personality assessment.

Joe Volpetti

Joe was an undergraduate at Old Dominion University majoring in psychology. His areas of interest were psychopathology and neuroscience with emphasis in psychotherapy
