Who am I

The Name is Omar Abd-ElNasser. Back in 2018, after graduating from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, October 6th University, I started my career as an Arabic-English translator in one of the biggest translation companies, AlMoajam Qatar.

A year later, specifically in April 2019, I self-published my first novel "Ahmar". Another year later, the famous publishing house, Book Juice, called me saying "Hey, Omar. we want you to translate A.J Banner's novel, After Nightfall. you down?"

so I accepted and the novel was released in Cairo International Book Fair 2020 under the title "Baa'd Holoul AlZalam". you can view a brief of both novels on this site. I also write loads of literary series on various social platforms.

To add to my words-related career, I worked as a copywriter in Echomind for Advertising managing to solve digital communications problems to achieve satisfaction for many respectable clients like; BMW, Infinity Solar, Orascom, Owest, etc. 

After that, I joined the team of Loc&More as a translator to work on localizing Noon, a huge e-commerce website serving UAE, KSA, and Egypt. In addition to translating hit video games as Fortnite, PUBG, The Witcher, CyberPunk 2077, etc.

Late 2021, I took a part in the team of The Translation Gate (TTG) as a senior translator to help the company through various huge projects translating all kinds of texts or videos from Arabic to English and vice versa.

January 2022, my second novel as an author was published under the title "Leila Wa Dohaha" and it did well. it was my first all-digital release as a part of an environment-friendly initiative that encourages using less paper and non-recyclable materials.
