Omar Bamieh

I am an assistant professor (non-tenure track) in economics at the University of Vienna. I am also a Research Affiliate of the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA).

Research interests: Labor Economics, Occupational Licensing, Gender Pay Gap, Gender Discrimination, Parental Leave, Social Norms, Wage Transparency.

I am visiting Collegio Carlo Alberto in Fall 2024.

I will be available for interviews for the 2024/2025 job market.
