To date, the City of Omaha has not had a single public meeting about the Civic Auditorium redevelopment site. This issue is too important to move forward without public input. As a resident of Omaha, I would like the opportunity to engage in our city's progress. I urge you to establish a formal Resident Engagement Program so that the people of Omaha can volunteer our talents and energy with City Departments and the Mayor's Office.

Related: Omaha Public Meetings sent a letter to the Mayor's Office, Planning Department, City Council, and Douglas County Commissioners to request consideration of the Civic Auditorium site as an alternative to using eminent domain for a proposed juvenile detention center.
