Ise Sea (伊勢湾) 2018, 2019
Ariake Sea (有明海) is a shallow and enclosed sea located in Kyushu, Japan. This area is famous for seaweed (Nori) and produces the biggest Nori in Japan. Red tide sometimes can damage seawead which reduces nutrients in the water and so on.
During summer 2019
This map shows the observations from the Oceanography team with assistant professor Anukul Buranapratheprat which I joined some of them during my study period at Burapha University, Thailand.
We conducted observation
OBS1: Gulf of Thailand of water quality in the Inner/Upper Gulf of Thailand as well as along the east coast of Thailand.
We measured current and also primary production at Man Nai Island. It was my first time to measure primary productivity using the light-dark bottle technique.
Introduction
Bangpakong River is one of the major rivers in the upper Gulf of Thailand supporting nutrients to the gulf.
