Currently proposed based on previous years attendance and family time for the staff.

Note: there is only 1 Premier league game on Boxing day which is on TV, there is a Birmingham City game, that is also on TV which would normally reduce numbers coming to view.

  New Product Announcement

We were asked to put a new bitter on the bar for those who do not like Tetley.  Suggestions were John Smiths and Worthington, both we have had before and removed as they did not sell.  We have also been asked to offer a 2nd Cask option, so combining the 2 requests, we have agreed a deal that puts Cask Bass Bitter on the bar at a competitive cost.

We hope you will like it as we have had favourable feedback from others who drink Cask Bass elsewhere.

  After some fresh negotiation with our suppliers, we have managed to seal a deal that allows us to bring on some more beers by Coors.  We will now be selling Carling Dark Berry Cider and Sharps.  We will also install a new Carling Font so we can service customers faster during parties and we haven't finished yet.  Watch this space for more improvements
  
  

• 2nd April 2025
  We have had discussions with a local brewery and pleased to annpunce we willbe selling Silhill beer for a trial period.  If the brand takes off, we will be in a position to widen the range.
  
  

• 3rd March 2025
  Due to low numbers attending mid-week over the winter period, it was not financially viable to open 7 days a week. Unfortunately as investors and custodians of the club, we were forced into into the tough decision to close of a Thursday evening.  I am pleased to announce that as we are seeing better weather and an upturn in numbers, we will now revert to being open 7 days a week from  10th April as a trial period.

  The Olton Club currently has a ladies Darts Team but looking to start a Gents Team too. If you would be interested in bringing your team to the Olton Club as a home venue or start a new Team within the club, please email with details.

  We are currently recruiting for the Domino Team.  We play all our games in the local vicinity Monday thru Wednesday with our home night being a Wednesday.  If you would like to join our team, please do email with your details.

  We have an internal snooker league and would ideally like to increase the numbers.  Meeting on a Wednesday over the winter period, we are now extending the snooker league nights to Wednesday and Thursday evening to support the expanding numbers we are expecting.  Run as a league with a trophy, we will also have a few knockouts throughout the year to mix things up.  We are not great players and will not scare any professionals, we are however sociable and just enjoy gathering for an enjoyale night out.
  
  If we do get some serious players, we have an offer to play a local club and potentially could join a local league.    Please message via email if you are interested in joining the internal league or keen to play in a local league.
