The Cuareim Quartet was conceived in Mexico by the meeting of its four outstanding musicians. They are inspired by their love for world music and by sharing and improvising with other artists. Danzas is the album created through this love of traditional music and through an understanding of what they all have in common and also, of what makes them unique, dance.

Cette aventure se prolongera ensuite avec le quatrième album de Chouf « Volatils ». Pourquoi s’arrêter alors en si bon chemin ? Des chansons aux thèmes tantôt graves, tantôt personnels enluminés par des tableaux métaphoriques riches de sens et d’émotions. Pour ce spectacle, qui fêtera la sortie de l’album composé de chansons ré-arrangées pour des cordes, Chouf sera accompagné par Eugénie Ursch au violoncelle, Olivier Samouillan à l’alto et Thomas Kretzschmar au violon."
