In this course, we embarked on an exploratory journey, starting with creations of abstract sculptures from paper. Then select one sculpture to develop further using chipboard and sticks. The challenge was to imbue our sculptures with a specific purpose and design an accompanying logo, seamlessly integrating form and function with a once-abstract sculpture.

Rising Deck
Rising Deck
The Rising Deck is an innovative interactive sculpture located in a beachfront park. This structure features four sets of symmetrical stairs that ascend to the centerpiece: an implied spherical dome formed by four ribs emerging from a square elevated platform. This platform serves as a vantage point for observing the surrounding landscape. Extending from the square platform, large triangular elements are arranged in a radial pattern, establishing a compelling visual hierarchy from every angle of the sculpture.
