The beauty of nature captured as a whole.
The Red Range
This picture was taken in Sedona, Arizona in May of 2020. The mountain range of the red rocks in Sedona is one of the main tourist attractions and I thought the picture was too beautiful to pass up. I love the vibrant colors of the clear blue sky and how it bounces off the red of the mountains and the green of the trees.
Cloudy Lake
Saturday Hike
Both of these picture were taken in Prescott, Arizona in May of 2020. I drew inspiration from Ansel Adams' work of black and white landscapes. Using his technique of black and white photography to bring out detail in landscapes worked well with this particular place. The different contrast in whites, grays, and blacks works well and allows for you to see several more details than if it was in color.
Grand Canyon From Above
This picture was taken in Prescott, Arizona in March of 2020. This picture shows the grand scale of what the Earth of capable of creating. It shows how even the Earth can create intricate designs and show beauty through a different form of art.
The Reflection
This picture was taken in Prescott, Arizona in October of 2020. This picture shows a unique perspective on the landscape. It allows for you to take a look at the normal landscape but also look at it from upside down. This allows for the mind to recognize more details and love how the lake perfectly reflects the surrounding environment.
