I am searching for positions that allow me to live openly and authentically as myself, conduct policy-relevant economic research on LGBTQIA2+ people, and continue to advocate for human rights.

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Geosciences at the U.S. Air Force Academy* in Colorado Springs, CO. My primary research interests are in the fields of LGBTQ+ Economics, Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Health Economics. I received my Ph.D. and M.S. in Economics from Purdue University in 2019 and 2015 respectively, and my B.S. in Economic Sciences from Washington State University in 2013. 

At Inside Out Youth Services, I am a member (Vice Chair starting 2027) of the Board of Directors, Acting Chair of the Policy & Advocacy Committee, and Chair of the Legislative Subcommittee working with LGBTQIA2+ youth and young adults to build access, equity, and power in Colorado Springs, CO.
