Municipal Preliminary Election 2025 – August 26th
The Municipal Preliminary Election has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, 2025, if needed.
There will be a Preliminary Election for a particular office if there are three or more candidates for Mayor, five or more candidates for Councilor-at-Large, three or more candidates for Ward Councilor, or eleven or more candidates for School Committee.
The Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The election will be citywide for the offices of Mayor, Councilor-at-Large, School Committee, and each ward Councilor.
