Strengthen student support systems by ensuring adequate access to counseling and mental health resources.
Fight to ensure that all students, whether enrolled in WPS or attending out-of-district placements, have equal access to extracurricular activities and school community events.
Advocate for safer schools so that all students feel safe and are safe during their school experience.
Invest in WPS course offerings and structures to provide students with enrichment and support experiences comparable to those in neighboring school districts.
Support opportunities centered on student experiences through school clubs and events.
Collaborative Work and Relationship Building
Maintain open communication with the Woburn Teachers' Association to advocate for meaningful professional development that benefits all members.
Collaborate with city government and local community organizations to provide students with valuable real-world enrichment experiences.
Support the creation of a joint working group between the School Committee and City Council to deepen the relationship and increase interactions outside budget season.Â
Facilities Maintenance
Work with WPS Administration, the City Council, and the Mayor's Office to develop an adequate timeline for essential capital improvements to improve our school facilities.
Encourage community dialogue to gather input on addressing the needs for a new school facility in North Woburn.
