Together with the ELLIS Unit Graz, ELLIS Unit NRW and the ELLIS Unit Lausanne, I will co-host the workshop AXIOM: Foundations of Efficient Deep Learning at NeurIPS 2026 in Paris on December 12-13, 2026. Expect a collaborative workshop towards predictive principles for efficient AI connecting deep learning theory, scaling laws, and efficiency.

I co-founded and co-host the public ELLIS Mathematics & Efficiency of Deep Learning reading group, where we examine the interplay between the theoretical foundations of deep learning and the practical challenge of making machine learning efficient. The reading group is open to researchers at all levels and offers a platform for open dialog and discussions about fresh research findings. The reading group is active since 2022. Join us!
