Duties For Secret Gardeners:
Watering when needed (hose is provided)
Weeding as needed (bring your own gloves, trowel, bag to carry out weeds and clippings)
Deadheading and cutting back spent flowers
Collecting and disposing of any trash
If the raised vegetable beds are planted this year, they are not our responsibility! Just leave them alone.

Tips from Holly Emmons, July '25:
1) If you are looking for pollinator plants for your garden, there is a new little nursery on Rte. 129 going toward South Bristol. It is called Figwort Farm and is open on Saturdays from 9am to 2 pm. She grows everything from seed that is acclimated to our area. Courtney is also at the Damariscotta Farmers Market on Fridays from 9 am to noon. Check out her website at figwortfarm.com.
2) Posies in the Pines is willing to take on new clients. Apparently, the owner has a large crew of dedicated gardeners that currently serve 90 clients!! If you are interested contact Tonia Clark at 737-9686.
A card and photo sent to OBGC from the Twin Villages Food Bank, thanking us for our Spring 2025 grant to them of $500
