What if my player has no experience?
Great! We welcome players at all skill levels. We will help your athlete learn the fundamentals of the game and help them grow as a player.
What equipment is required?
Equipment needed includes a stick, helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, protective cup, and cleats. Equipment can be found both online and in local sports equipment stores like Dick's Sporting Goods (Leawood or N.KC locations) or Bardown Sports. Check the equipment tab for more information.
How much does it cost to play?
Youth fees for the 2025 Spring Season are $250 for 5th-8th grade, $200 for 3rd-4th grade, and $150 for 1st-2nd grade. This includes games and practices. A USA Lacrosse membership is required to play and is purchased separately. Uniforms will be $56 for jersey and shorts (2025 season will use the same uniforms from 2024).
How many players are on a team?
1st & 2nd Grade
4v4 on a small field (approx. 1/2 football field). 4 field players, no goalie. 6-8 players is ideal for a team.
3rd & 4th Grade
7v7 on a small field (approx. 1/2 football field). 6 field players and 1 goalie. 8-10 is ideal for a team.
U12 - 5th & 6th Grade
10v10 on a full field (approx. full football field). 9 field players and 1 goalie. 15-18 players is ideal for a full field team.
U14 - 7th & 8th Grade
10v10 on a full field (approx. full football field). 9 field players and 1 goalie. 15-18 players is ideal for a full field team.
