He was a senior captain for varsity football and lacrosse where they finished 1-0, with only 1 game coming before the covid shutdown had ended the season. Myles graduated from Kansas State in 2024 with a bachelors degree in physical education where he is licensed to teach K-12. This past fall he accepted a coaching job at Olathe Northwest where he works with the freshman and varsity football teams. 1st/2nd Grade Head Coach
Jay grew up in the Kansas City area, but moved to Maryland after meeting his wife, Sara. Over the next 11 years, Jay and Sara built a beautiful life together, welcoming four energetic boys into their growing family.
A former basketball player, Jay initially knew little about lacrosse, but the sport was deeply rooted in Sara’s upbringing in the Baltimore suburbs, where it reigns supreme. Passionate about sharing her love of the game, Sara introduced their boys to lacrosse. As Jay began watching and learning, he was struck by the similarities between lacrosse and basketball, from the strategy and spacing to the fast-paced teamwork.
Recently, Jay and his family felt the pull of the Midwest once again. Returning to Jay’s roots in Kansas City, they were thrilled to see how much the sport of lacrosse had grown since he left.
