Curtis Theard Jr, PharmD, MHA

Regis University


Dr. Theard is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Olathe Hospital.  He is originally from Chicago, IL and received his BA in Integrative Biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He graduated from Regis University School of Pharmacy in 2022 and received his Master’s in Health Services Administration from Regis. His clinical interests includes cardiology, critical care, and emergency medicine. Outside of residency, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering within the community. He also enjoys watching basketball and football games, grilling, and going on hikes.

Kendall Schlesener, PharmD 

University of Kansas


Dr. Schlesener, a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Olathe Hospital, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in 2023. Her primary clinical interests include oncology and ambulatory care, and she looks forward to exploring potential PGY2 opportunities within those areas. Outside of pharmacy, Kendall loves to play with her puppies, Lilly and Lincoln, and spend time with her fiancé, Jackson (as long as it's not wedding planning). She enjoys watching KU basketball and Chiefs football, along with running and finding new recipes to try.

Alec Melanson, PharmD 

University of Wisconsin


Dr. Melanson is a PGY-1 resident at Olathe Hospital. He graduated pharmacy school in 2023 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His clinical interests include ambulatory care, internal medicine and critical care. In his free time he appreciates spending quality time with his family and friends, as well as supporting his local Wisconsin sports teams. Alec is new to town and is looking forward to exploring Kansas City’s restaurant and entertainment scene.
