It depends on the show! An Open Audition is when everyone sits in the auditorium during the audition process. Students perform scenes together as the roles they are auditioning for are called up. In a Closed Audition, students wait in the hallway until called into the auditorium. When called in, they perform either a scene with students or a monologue depending on what the show requires. The only people watching the audition are Mrs. Conant, Ms. Lydston, and possibly the student director of the production.
