Ohi Alam is a dedicated Agriculturalist and Climate Activist from Khulna, Bangladesh. He holds a postgraduate degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University, specializing in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Currently, he serves as a Deputy Manager in the BRAC Climate Change Programme, actively creating sustainable solutions to address climate change challenges.

Ohi is passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others. Throughout his academic years, he gained valuable experience by participating in various events and collaborating with different organizations, which helped him develop strong management skills and the ability to confront life’s challenges with resilience.

As a Cadet of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Ohi was trained to work effectively under pressure and embraced discipline as a core value in his life. He led his university platoon, which honed his leadership skills. His involvement in co-curricular activities such as debates and public speaking has equipped him with excellent communication abilities.

In addition to his leadership and public speaking experiences, Ohi has volunteered in numerous cultural and humanitarian events, reinforcing his commitment to serving humanity. His role as a campus journalist enhanced his awareness of his surroundings, helping him grow into the conscientious and principled professional he is today.

Ohi is a people-oriented person who enjoys meeting individuals from diverse backgrounds and learning from their unique perspectives. He envisions a future where he can work in a creative, challenging, and dynamic environment, building his career with honesty and integrity.
