Speaker Bio: Dorival Mendes Rodrigues-Junior is a cancer researcher interested in elucidating signaling pathways promoting tumorigenesis driven by tyrosine kinase receptor activation (e.g., TGF-β and EGFR) and extracellular vesicles. He obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology in 2018 from the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil) in collaboration with the National Cancer Centre of Singapore. Since 2020, Rodrigues-Junior has been working, first as a postdoctoral fellow, and now as a researcher in tumor biology at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology at Uppsala University (Sweden). He is the current coordinator of the Swedish extracellular vesicles network (SweSEV).
