Kerala’s first Central Government–approved skill development scheme, Saksham, focuses on structured training, employability, and inclusive skill development aligned with national standards.

Training and assessment are delivered through a structured, system-driven framework, combining theoretical learning with practical skill development. Continuous and final assessments are conducted as per approved standards to ensure competency, quality, and job readiness. 

OGTMHUB follows a structured training and assessment framework that ensures learner competency, maintains process transparency, and delivers consistent quality outcomes across all skill-based and academic programs, in line with approved standards and institutional governance practices. 

Training is practice-oriented and skill-intensive, aligned with clearly defined program objectives and relevant industry standards. This ensures learners receive hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and gain job-ready competencies required for real workplace environments and long-term career growth.

Apprenticeship, on-the-job training (OJT), and industry exposure are integrated into selected programs where applicable. This approach helps learners gain real workplace experience, understand industry practices, and develop job-ready skills, improving confidence, employability, and a smooth transition from training to employment. 

Learner progress is carefully monitored through continuous assessment methods designed to track skill development, participation, attendance, and performance at each stage of training. This structured approach helps identify learning gaps early, supports improvement, and ensures learners achieve the required competencies and program outcomes in a transparent and measurable manner. 

Where applicable, assessments include structured examinations conducted under controlled conditions. These examinations follow approved guidelines to ensure fairness, transparency, and accuracy. Proper supervision and evaluation methods are applied so that learner performance is measured consistently and in line with academic and skill assessment standards.

Assessment outcomes are carefully reviewed, validated, and approved through internal academic procedures. This process follows established academic regulations to ensure accuracy, fairness, and consistency. Only approved results are recorded and used for certification, progression, and official academic records within the institutional system.
