This policy applies to all players worldwide. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws in your region.

By downloading or playing OG Fun Monke Horror, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or play the game.

1. Definitions

The following terms are used throughout this Privacy Policy:

• "Device ID / Hardware ID" – A unique identifier assigned to your specific device or system, used for account authentication.

• "IP Address" – A unique numerical address that identifies your internet connection.

• "Friends & Social Data" – Friend requests, friends list, blocked-player lists, and the list of your Meta friends who also play the game, used to operate our in-game social features.

• "Voice Data" – Real-time microphone audio transmitted between players during multiplayer sessions.

• "User Data" or "Developer User Data" – Any personal data collected, processed, or stored by us in connection with your use of OG Fun Monke Horror, as defined in Meta's Developer Data Use Policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the game and its features, in accordance with Meta's Developer Data Use Policy and applicable law.

A. Device ID / Hardware ID — Collected to authenticate your device and log you into your PlayFab / OG Fun Monke Horror account. Processed by PlayFab (a Microsoft service).

B. IP Address — Stored within your PlayFab account record. Used exclusively for in-game moderation, such as enforcing IP bans against players who violate our rules. We do not use your IP address for advertising or tracking.

C. User ID — A unique identifier linked to your account, collected from PlayFab or Meta. Used for login, account management, authentication, anti-cheat, and moderation.

D. User Profile — Includes your in-game display name, tied to your User ID for identification and login. Your display name is visible to other players within the game.

E. In-App Purchases — Purchase records are provided to us by Meta when you buy in-game items. Used solely to confirm your transaction and deliver purchased content to your account. We do not store payment card details — payment processing is handled entirely by Meta.

F. Friends & Social Data — If you use our in-game friends features, we collect and store the friend requests you send and receive, your confirmed friends list, and your blocked-players list, each tied to your User ID. With your consent, we access the list of your Meta friends who also play OG Fun Monke Horror, solely so you can find and add them in-game; we do not receive your full Meta friend list. Your online status, display name, and (if you allow it) the room you are in may be visible to your friends. You can appear offline, disable incoming friend requests, unfriend, and block at any time.

G. Voice Data — The game includes real-time voice chat. When you enable your microphone, your voice is transmitted live to other players in your session so you can talk to them. We do not record or store voice audio. Microphone access is optional and controlled by your device permissions, and you can mute other players in-game.
H. Meta Challenges Data (if applicable) — Where you participate in Meta Challenges, we process the associated challenge data solely to operate that feature and to support account-integrity and fair-play checks. This data is not used for advertising or profiling and is not sold or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the feature.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only for the purposes described below. We will not process your data in ways inconsistent with those purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

• To authenticate your identity and log you into your account.

• To deliver in-game content and items you have purchased.

• To operate our friends and social features, and to respect your privacy choices (appear offline, blocking, disabling requests).

• To enable real-time voice chat between players.

• To operate in-game moderation and anti-cheat systems, including banning players who violate our Terms of Service.

• To comply with our legal obligations under applicable law.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR): Where applicable, we rely on contract performance (to deliver the game you signed up for), legitimate interests (moderation, anti-cheat, and security), and legal obligation. For optional social features (accessing your Meta friends who play the game), we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by disabling the feature. We do not rely on consent for processing that is strictly necessary to provide the game.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may collect and process your personal data independently under their own terms:

B. Photon (Exit Games) — Real-time multiplayer networking and voice chat. Photon processes connection metadata including IP addresses for network routing, and relays live voice audio between players.

D. Discord — Limited operational and moderation events may be sent to a private channel we use as an internal moderation log. We minimize the data included and do not send IP addresses.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With our third-party service providers (PlayFab, Photon, Meta, Discord) as described in Section 4, strictly to operate the game.

• Where required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority.

• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Silly Games, our players, or others.

We do not share your data with advertisers or use your data for targeted advertising.

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, by our providers (Microsoft/PlayFab, Photon, Meta, and Discord). Where required by law, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active, or as long as necessary to provide the game's services:

• Account data (User ID, Hardware ID, User Profile, friends and blocked lists) is retained for the lifetime of your active account. An account is considered inactive after [e.g., 24 months] without a login, after which we may delete associated data.

• IP address and moderation logs may be retained for a reasonable period to support moderation actions and appeals.

• Purchase records may be retained for longer periods where required by financial or tax law.

• Voice audio is not retained — it is relayed live and not recorded.

If you request deletion of your account, we will act without undue delay and direct PlayFab to delete associated data in accordance with Meta's Developer Data Use Policy and PlayFab's data deletion obligations. Certain data may be retained longer if required by law or to resolve outstanding disputes.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Regardless of your location, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This is a core requirement of Meta's VRC Privacy Standards (VRC.Quest.Privacy.4) and we honor it globally. We will not charge a fee for a deletion request and will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We will explain clearly if any portion of your data cannot be deleted (for example, transaction records we are legally required to retain).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to:

• Object to or restrict certain processing.

• Withdraw consent for optional features (such as friends) at any time.

OG Fun Monke Horror is intended for users who meet Meta's minimum age requirement, which is 10 years of age or older (requirements may vary by region). For players under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction (for example, under 13 in the United States), account setup and consent are handled through Meta's parent-managed account system, and we rely on that system for the required parental consent. Our social features (friends, voice chat, visible display names) operate within Meta's youth-protection controls, and we do not enable minors to publicly share personal contact information through the game. Parents and guardians can manage younger players' accounts and social permissions through Meta's Family Center.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Your data is stored and processed through PlayFab (Microsoft), which implements industry-standard security controls.

We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. If you become aware of any security issue, please contact us promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law.
