NFL offseason.

As the 2025 NFL offseason gains momentum, the league is once again buzzing with blockbuster moves, front office strategies, and franchise-altering decisions. From high-profile free agency signings to quarterback uncertainty and looming draft-day intrigue, teams across the league are reshaping their rosters in a bid to contend for next season's Lombardi Trophy.

The free agency market kicked off with a bang. One of the biggest moves so far has been wide receiver Davante Adams signing a two-year, $46 million deal with the Los Angeles Rams. After a brief stint with the Jets, Adams joins a Rams team looking to retool around a core of experienced veterans and emerging talent. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills added firepower to their defensive line by bringing in former Chargers star Joey Bosa on a one-year, $12.6 million contract. The move signals Buffalo's continued push to reach the Super Bowl while their championship window remains open.

In Minnesota, the Vikings bolstered their interior defense by signing Javon Hargrave, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers. The two-year, $30 million deal adds grit and veteran leadership to a defense that struggled with consistency last season. Another headline-making shift came when the Seattle Seahawks traded Pro Bowl receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick and a late-round pick swap. Pittsburgh's move indicates a clear desire to support their young quarterback with a true WR1, while Seattle eyes a soft rebuild.

Quarterbacks, as always, are at the center of the NFL's offseason drama. Aaron Rodgers, released by the New York Jets after an injury-plagued year, is once again the subject of speculation. The New Orleans Saints have emerged as a potential landing spot, especially after a lingering shoulder issue has clouded the future of Derek Carr. A Rodgers-to-NOLA scenario would instantly vault the Saints back into the playoff conversation and add another chapter to the future Hall of Famer's storied career.

With the NFL Draft approaching—set for April 24–26 in Green Bay—teams are entering the final phase of prospect evaluation and internal war-room debates. The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off another deep playoff run, are reportedly not expected to prioritize left tackle in the first round despite instability at the position. Instead, the defending champions are leaning toward addressing their interior offensive line or adding depth to the defensive front. Meanwhile, quarterback-needy franchises like the Raiders, Commanders, and Patriots are all in the mix to move up in the draft order, possibly eyeing top prospects like Carson Beck, Quinn Ewers, or Shedeur Sanders.

Off the field, the rhythm of the offseason is defined by workouts, OTAs, and minicamps. Teams like the Houston Texans, who have quietly built a young, talented roster under head coach DeMeco Ryans, are laying the groundwork for continued growth. The Texans kick off their offseason workouts on April 21, with full team OTAs scheduled in late May and early June, and a mandatory minicamp on the calendar for June 10–11.

As franchises build for the future, every transaction, interview, and scouting report becomes a piece of a larger puzzle. The 2025 NFL season may be months away, but the moves made during this critical stretch will shape the storylines, rivalries, and championship runs to come.

After a 167 yard game Saquon Barkley is 100 yards away from tying the record for most rushing yards in a single season set by Eric Dickerson of the Los Angeles Rams. Saquon Barkley in his next game against the New York Giants will be expected to break the record against his old team. The Giants must feel sad.

MVP race.

The NFL postseason is almost here and that means seasonal awards will be given out. The MVP race is between Bills QB Josh Allen and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson will be seeking his 3rd MVP meanwhile Allen will seek his1st. At this point everybody expects Jackson to do well while Allen does not have an MVP. Allen made history this season when they played 49ers, he had a receiving touchdown, a rushing touchdown, and a passing touchdown. I believe Allen deserves it more than Jackson.

Are the 49ers over-rated.

After the Rams winning, the 49ers have no hope at the playoffs, but with superstar power of Kittle Warner, Bosa and Samuel. You could say the 49ers are a bit overrated. After going to the Super Bowl last year, everybody had confidence in them after the week one win over The Jets. Through tough injuries, they could not clinch a playoff spot and are now out of the race for playoffs.

Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles stands at 1,838 rushing yards as of December 28th. The current record is 2,105 set by Eric Dickerson in 1984. Eric Dickerson is against Barkley Breaking his single season record. Saquon Barley was a New York Jet until the 2024 free agency were the Eagles signed him and now inching toward the record in his first season in Philly.
