Blake Snell signs with Dodgers

Blake Snell signed a 5 year 182 million dollar contract with the Dodgers. Blake Snell was born on December 4 1992 in Seattle and made his first major leage apperance with the Rays. Snell was traded to the Padres in a 5 player deal with the rays reciving 4 young players. Snell signed as a free agent with the Giants then after 1 year decided to opt-out of a 2 year 62 million dollar contract and sign with the Dodgers. For the 2025 season the dodgers pitching rotation will be made up of four aces Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glassnow, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Blake Snell. The Dodgers will have more than six pitchers and will have to trade or get rid of either Jack Flaherty or Bobby Miller. Jack Flaherty, coming off a great 2024 season, would probably be one of the last ones you want to trade.

Teoscar Hernandez coming off a 30 home run season seemed to like it in Los Angeles But now entering the 2024-2025 free agency he could go anywhere. In my opinion, he will sign back with LA even though he declined a three-year offer in November. Teams that had seemed interested were the Blue Jays, the Red Sox and the Dodgers.The Dodgers seem like they want Teoscar Hernandez back. He could stay a four hole or move to third and put Freddie Freeman as clean up hitter.
