Plans, coordinates, organizes, directs and controls a variety of engineering and architectural services including land acquisition, planning, designing, project management, construction inspection, design & construction quality control, contracting, construction management, and equipping facilities and improvements for the Department of Education.
The administration of the Facilities Development Branch (FDB) ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of all branch operations. They work with all FDB sections as well as numerous outsides entities to ensure that all DOE facilities are safe and secure for students, teachers, and others that visit the campuses.
Under the general direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of OSFSS, the Public Works Administrator plans, directs and coordinates the various activities of the branch. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the branch and ensures that all facilities are built within the guidelines set forth by Federal, State and County rules and regulations.
