Originally created in 2005, the CSR has made two major transformations throughout its existence. Initially bearing the title IDL, then re-emerging as the SAF, the group has eventually come to be known as the CSR. Beginning In Halo 2 as a Sangheili-exclusive clan, the brotherhood was intent on competitive play against Spartan-exclusive clans, in both matchmaking and custom games. The brotherhoods most cherished and important function is partaking in Clan Battles.'Clan Battles' (as their commonly referred to) are a series of matches (usually best two-out-of-three) in which both parties agree to have their teams compete for greater glory.

Through multiple Halo titles and over the course of many years, our Clan fought relentlessly against overwhelming odds, sharing in both victory and celebration, making the most of a community that out-numbered us ten-to-one.

As a Sangheili clan we were Elite exclusive, though we have now become all inclusive, welcoming anyone who seeks brotherhood and competition.

The CSR is highly organized, consisting of a rigid hierarchy and an extensive ranking structure. We are committed to our unity, self-discipline, and brotherhood. Always lending a hand to those in need and always on the look out for a new opponent against whom to test our skills.

Despite a structural integrity of organization based around combat and order, the general atmosphere of our brotherhood is rather lax and leisure. Only when the horns of war are sounded and an enemy presents themselves do we martial our force and work as a team for the greater outcome of victory.

We believe in fellowship, in trying your hardest, in self-love and self-confidence. Loyalty, honesty, action, these are the characteristics we encourage on a daily basis. Each man is the others brother and we always look out for one another. We hope that by practicing these principles in all our affairs we can become better people, and help the community and the world become a better place.
