As an educational office professional, I am dedicated to teaching others with clerical duties, how to use the tools and resources that are available to them. While there are a lot of ways for teachers and students to use these tools, if an educational office professional can think outside the box and sometimes dive a little deeper, they'll discover tools and resources that will allow them to create, collaborate, communicate, and connect with others. My goal is to help you streamline your work and allow you to be more efficient with your time so you can get back to the real reason you're there, the students.

Having worked in clerical positions for over 20 years I understand that not everyone's office is set up the same way. Some are stationary while others are on the go. Imagine having bite-size pieces of information you can come back to on your own time, play with just a section of, listen to how it works through the tutorials, and then being able to use that information the next day when you start work. There's little time for professional development when you need it, and I hope to help with that.

As someone who works for a school district in Southern California for the past 14 years. I started out from the ground up, filing papers and making copies. I've done office work through the years while being in the mailroom, the warehouse, the discipline office, and the district office. At the start of my current position, I was encouraged by my supervisor to complete the Google Educator trainings as the district was going to begin district-wide professional development days and they needed presenters for the classified staff. That was in 2014.

Since then I've maintained my status as a Google Educator, both levels one and two, as well as became a Certified Google Trainer at the beginning of 2006. I have given many one-on-one workshops, multiple district-wide blocks of professional development to all staff, teachers, support staff, and administration. I've presented at Google EdTech Team Summits, California Association of Educational Office Professionals, and at the National Association of Educational Office Professionals, both as a summit presenter as well as customizing private workshops to present to their board members.
