Clara Pena

Director/ProducerClara earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, she now lives in Western Colorado where she teaches high school graphic design, web design, and video production. In her spare time, she helps maintain her family's farm as they work to establish a new apple orchard and raise chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and a dog.

Boyd Boland

Story ConsultantBoyd N. Boland is a former United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Denver and Columbia Law School. He has taught mediation techniques nationally and internationally. Today, Judge Boland works part time in Denver but lives on the apple farm where he was born and raised near the Western Slope town of Paonia, Colorado. The farm has been in the Boland family for nearly 70 years.

Matt Jenkins

Writer/ProducerOriginally from the Tennessee Valley, Matt studied film, drama, literature, and business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Western State Colorado University, and Arizona State. Matt and John Steele recently received the 2017 Telluride Film Festival’s City Lights Project award, providing Colorado high school students and educators VIP passes for fifteen films and master-classes with Oscar winning filmmakers.

John Steele

Writer/ProducerJohn Steele is the STEM/Gifted Education Coordinator for the Montrose County School District. He has been an English teacher at Montrose High School for four years and a lecturer in English, Creative Writing and Film at Western State Colorado University for five years. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing and recently won Montrose High School Teacher of the Year.

Sydney Warner

Director of PhotographySydney is a 2017 graduate from Montrose High School. She currently works at the Montrose Daily Press, where she photographs many of Montrose's greatest moments.

Heta Domann

Art DirectorHeta is a 10th grader at Montrose High School. She is a self-described "design nerd" and enjoys creating digital art using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Robin Bahrami

Assistant EditorRobin is a 12th grader at Boulder High School. She is an avid mountain biker and hopes to study film in college.

Liza Eller

Production InternLiza is a student at the Paonia Experiential Leadership Academy. She likes taking videos and pictures. Liza currently serves as an intern for Elsewhere Studios.
