The game requires various artefacts to work - a selection is given below.
Won a battle dedicated to a deity? Let them know about it!
Need someone struck by a thunderbolt? Ask a God to do it! Asking costs, and the bigger your sacrifice, the bigger your petition.
Your Kingdom may find itself the subject of a blessing - or a blight. The gods move in mysterious ways. Your income for the next turn will be seriously affected, and you really need that income to build armies and temples.
Building one of these is not easy - but it might bring great rewards.
There are various other artefacts used in the game, from gold coins to magical swords.
