License Introduction

Licensing can be a tricky bit of business.  You find all the resources you want for your lesson and remix the perfect resource.  You use it in your classroom and because its a big success, decide to share it with the world.  Only problem with sharing out to the world is, pieces of the remix won't allow you.

It is important that we give appropriate credit where it is due. Licensing makes sure we give credit where due AND don't violate any restrictions anyone has placed on their piece of work.  In addition, when we create resources, licenses can protect our property as well.  In this final chapter, learn how to determine the licensing restrictions on resources and how, after remixing, to create your own license so everyone's work is protected, including yours.
