Can I submit more than one entry?
Each entrant may submit up to three videos. However, a winning entrant is ineligible to win multiple major prizes. Additional videos from a winning applicant may be considered for “honorable mention”.
What formats are acceptable?
Acceptable file types are avi, flv, wmv, mov, and mp4.
What can be entered?
Entries must:
- be the original work of the entrant;
- include content taken on an ODU study abroad program;
- be digital and between 30 seconds and 5 minutes in duration;
- include video content shot horizontally only;
- not use material (especially music) that is subject to copyright fees. [See Creative Commons, a system, built upon current copyright law, which allows one to legally use “some rights reserved” music, movies, images, and other content — all for free.]
How do I submit my entry?
Entrants should submit their video by completing this Official Entry Form.
After submitting, entrants may be contacted and asked for more information about their entry. Such additional background information may be incorporated into posting and publishing of videos.
