When I range "example#2_Gauss.py" I got an error making reference to "TeX", what does this mean?
This was an error on our part. The files have been edited to remove any reference to "TeX".
I am not a minor, why can't I join the interactive sessions?
This year, Python4STEM is being hosted by the REYES team. This increased the interest in Python4Physics to over 2 thousand participants, which is absolutely fantastic but also an overwhelming number of participants! At first, we thought we would have to cap the number of participants. Instead, we decided to open it up to everyone by providing a live stream and recordings of these. By streaming the course live, participants of all ages and levels may join.
Keeping in mind best practices for safeguarding minors attending the course, attendees will not be able to see or interact with each other. However, class attendees will be able to see and hear faculty and their TAs, as well as a few current ODU students taking the course. Furthermore, the participants are able to interact with faculty by submitting questions online that will be read and answered during the live session.
I am receiving over 100 notifications from Dropbox daily. How do I make it stop?
This means we are hard at work making content available for you. You can turn off notifications by following the instructions provided in the Dropbox website: https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/settings-sign-in/notified-changes.
Can we use Discord or something equivalent to discuss about problem?
We are happy to say that we are using slack to allow our students to chat with TAs. If you want to join the chat, email pyhon4physics@odu.edu. You will get an auto-response with the slack chat invitation. Note, Slack is not allowed for individuals under the age of 16 [see https://slack.com/terms-of-service]. Because of this, we are not able to provide chat for individuals under the age of 16. We will try to accommodate this in the future.
Do you have any references on particle physics for beginners?
