Newscast Policies

Below are a short list of policies I aim to uphold in the running of the Newscast. 

This includes what tournaments I will not promote on this platform. This is not to police what OCTs can/cannot be made, but with what I'm comfortable with promoting in this space.

General Policies

• Aim to document and promote tournaments as objectively as possible. 

• The focus is on making information like start date, premise, winners etc. accessible to others

• Provide a safe and accepting space for people to discuss Original Character Tournaments 

• Hate speech (such as bigotry, transphobia etc), bullying and dogpiling will not be tolerated

• It is not my role to decide who can or cannot enter a tournament, however myself and the moderator team have the right to bar people from the Newscast Discord if necessary. Please listen to the mods.

Tournaments which will not be promoted:

• Tournaments with cash prizes

• Tournaments with NSFW or 18+ premises (if its 18+ it wont be added to the new OCT list)

• Tournaments that promote hate speech (racism, sexism, transphobia etc) or bigotry
