There are 4 main EM organizations for students to join, and each has an associated conference that Ochsner EMIG recommends attending. In addition, each conference allows students to apply for Medical Student Ambassador (MSA) positions which generally allows you to attend the conference for free or at a discount and gives you networking opportunities and mentor services. The table below describes the cost and benefits of joining each organization in addition to conference dates and links to conference webpages and MSA information for each conference.
