Ocarina Pocket is a playable ocarina app made by Ouadie Zerhouni. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not collect. It is short because the app collects nothing.
THE SHORT VERSION
Ocarina Pocket does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
MICROPHONE
The app uses the microphone only when you turn on the tuner, Blow to play, or the My ocarina play-along mode. The sound is analysed live on your device to detect pitch and breath. Audio is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Your preferences (ocarina type, sound settings), your favourite songs and the tabs you write are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, and deleting the app deletes all of them.
NETWORK
When online, the app downloads a small public configuration file from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com) to receive new songs, announcements and settings. This request contains no personal information and no identifiers. GitHub may process standard request data such as your IP address, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement: https://docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement
CHILDREN
Ocarina Pocket is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age; there is no field anywhere in the app in which to type personal information.
WHAT OCARINA POCKET NEVER DOES
No accounts, no sign-in, no email collection. No location, contacts, photos or camera. No recording of your audio. No analytics sent anywhere. No advertising. No selling or sharing of data. No in-app purchases.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
