Ocarina Pocket is a playable 12-hole Alto C and 6-hole pendant ocarina for iPhone, with songs as animated tabs, a fingering chart and a chromatic tuner. Made by Ouadie Zerhouni.
How do I make a sound?
In Fingers mode, rest any finger on the clay to blow, then cover holes to change the note. Prefer breathing? Switch to Blow to play and blow gently towards the bottom of your phone, where the microphone is. In Keys mode, touch and hold a key.
Which ocarina should I choose?
The 12-hole Alto C is the most common ocarina and what most tabs are written for. The 6-hole pendant is small and simple; a few songs need the wider 12-hole range and are marked 12-hole only.
The tuner does not react.
Allow microphone access in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone, play a steady note close to the phone, and make sure no other app is using the microphone.
Writing your own tabs
In Songs, tap the pencil. Type notes separated by spaces (C5 D5 E5), add :2 for a longer note, /2 for a shorter one and - for a rest, or tap the keys.
