It can be said that the Sacrament of Confirmation completes what the sacrament of baptism began.
The sacrament of Confirmation does this in two ways. First, the confirmed person’s bond with the Church is strengthened. Second, the person receives an additional outpouring of the spirit
The additional outpouring of the Holy Spirit are gifts in the form of graces which will help the person with their participation in the life Church.
