Safety Policy Statement
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 makes it the legal duty of the Company and all its employees to take reasonable care for the Health, Safety and Welfare of themselves, other employees and of all other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions. The Board recognises the importance of safety, health and welfare in the successful operation of all its activities. It believes in the active participation of every person within the organisation in order to achieve and maintain the highest practicable standard of accident prevention, and therefore relies on the initiative, teamwork and full co-operation of all levels of the Company management and employees.
Managers and Supervisors within the Company undertake specific responsibilities as set out in this document. At the same time all employees have responsibilities with HSWA Legislation and are expected to make their own commitment to carrying out the policy. In the interests of the health, safety and welfare of all its employees, and of other persons who may be affected by its activities, Oak Tree Management & Training Ltd commits itself to the implementation of the HSW Act 1974.
