"Sports Awards" Gala: Fuel for the Next Season !!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Laureates, Coaches, Dear Athletes,
This evening is, above all, a celebration of your triumph. Looking around this room, I see representatives of a wide range of disciplines – from combat sports, through team sports, to endurance events. Each of you has followed a different path, but you share one thing: in the past season, you have pushed the boundaries of human capability. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart.
However, as people of sport, we all know what lies behind these trophies and medals. It’s not just the flash of cameras. It is also liters of sweat, immense strain on the nervous system, micro-injuries, and pain that you have often had to endure just to step into the arena.
Today we celebrate your success, but tomorrow you will already begin thinking about the next season. That is why I would like to touch on what will allow you to stay at the top. Victory is decided by details, and the absolute foundation is recovery. And this is where game-changing tools come into play: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, whose remarkable power you can experience during 60- and 90-minute sessions in our hyperbaric chambers at the O2 Hyper Health studio in Rugby.
Breathing pure oxygen under increased pressure allows oxygen to reach the areas most affected during your performances. Whether you leave your health on the field, the track, in the pool, or in the ring, the hyperbaric chamber offers three universal benefits:
1. Rapid post-exercise recovery: Intense training leads to micro-damage of muscle fibres and the buildup of lactic acid. Delivering a powerful dose of oxygen to tissues dramatically accelerates toxin removal and muscle repair. You are ready for your next intense training session much faster.
2. More effective reduction of inflammation and faster injury healing: Oxygen under pressure acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent. It reduces swelling, stimulates the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), and supports collagen production. This means that recovery time after sprains, strains, or bruises is significantly shortened, as healing processes and swelling reduction can be accelerated even up to threefold.
3. Enhanced performance, protection against fatigue, and support for the nervous system: Regular sessions help the body manage oxygen more efficiently. Microcirculation improves, giving you more energy for the final minutes of a match, the last meters of a race, or the final round in the ring. You gain additional “fuel.” Sport also places a huge demand on the nervous system. Deep oxygenation of the brain improves concentration, sleep quality, and helps reduce the so-called “brain fog” after extreme exertion.
Of course, let’s be realistic – there are no shortcuts. No hyperbaric chamber will replace hard work, a balanced diet, and discipline. It is not a magic capsule that turns an amateur into a champion.
But you are already champions. Your foundations are solid. For you, oxygen therapy is a legal performance and recovery enhancer that will help you defend the titles you have earned today in the coming year. It allows you to train harder, recover faster, and push your limits in a way that is safer for your health.
Once again, my sincere congratulations to all the nominees and award winners. Enjoy this evening, get some rest, and in the new season… I wish you never run out of oxygen, and I invite you to our studio for relaxation, recovery, and a boost of energy for your body and mind.
