I tried just plugging the LNP/LNC into the hub (with nothing on the motherboard headers other than the nzxt hub with one of the corsair hubs plugged in) and also, I don't know if the nzxt hub doesn't supply enough power even with the sata port plugged in or it's just a compatibility issue

there is supposed to be no problem, previously i only had 4 LL120 connected with the LNP, working together with the nzxt kraken Z73, if i connect all the fans to a single hub i think the problem should go away, since the source of the problem is that my motherboard has no more than 2 usb 2.0 ports.

Solution for whoever sees it: buy the commander core xt, don't think about it, in the end you will get the same result if you don't buy it, I ordered it the day after the failure and I was able to control 10 fans without any problem with a single usb head , including my nzxt kraken z73 on the other port.

modprobe nzxt-smart2 should load the drivers for the NZXT RGB & Fan Controller, and hopefully you can get pwmconfig to see those fans. If it does, you will need to add nzxt-smart2 to /etc/modules. If it doesn't work, you could always move the fans from the controller to the motherboard. I'm not sure if NZXT has support for Linux that you could reach out to as well if you are having trouble. 2351a5e196
