As the 420 is sailed nationally, the Association rotates the National Championships through Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on a three year cycle. The next regional event is the 2026 Auckland Championships (see below for dates and link). The next National Championship will be in Wellington, hosted by the Evans Bay Yacht and Motorboat Club.
