Explore for yourself how artificial intelligence (AI) generates sentences with a language model that can be built with playing cards! In this interactive workshop, we'll use a classic Dr. Seuss story to understand key AI concepts like text generation, pattern recognition, and creativity in Generative AI. Participants will engage in hands-on activities that highlight how language models work and how that understanding can inform our own interactions with modern generative AIs. AI is not magic and it is not something to keep at arms length.
