(SIR) provides a framework for processing applications to Interconnect new distributed generation (DG) facilities and interconnect new energy storage system (ESS) facilities
Applicants are responsible for payment of utility system modification cost estimates in accordance with the following rules and deadlines.
The rules in Sections I-B and I-C shall apply to applications to:
Construct new Hybrid Projects
Construct new stand-alone storage
Add an ESS to an existing DG facility
Change the operating mode of an existing Hybrid Project or standalone storage facility
Distributed Generation applications that have been determined to be complete and that meet the following criteria may be combined .
Each utility shall maintain an IOAP system to provide applicants a web-based application submittal process.
Applicants may propose a Modification at any time by submitting a request to the utility through the utility’s on-line application portal and /or via email.
