Student Learning Outcomes

Why do we need to be clear about student learning outcomes?

Teachers must come to a shared understanding on learning expectations, levels of rigor, examples, and vocabulary associated with learning standards.  John Hattie tells us that building teacher clarity and collective teacher efficacy is strongly positively correlated with student achievement.
