The #end-patrol-log channel is used by all officers after they finish a patrol and need to log it. While logs are technically not mandatory, they are highly encouraged as there are required amounts of logs to reach certain ranks. The following format must be used in the channel:
Finished patrol
User: (Your username)
Rank: (Your rank)
Arrests: (An estimate of the amount of arrests you made during your patrol)
Assisting: (Not required, but is used to show the officers that you were working with on your patrol)
Time: (Length of time of the log, can be found in the #nypd-radio channel)
Proof: (A screenshot of the message in the #nypd-radio channel saying that you have signed off)
An example of a correctly formatted log can be seen here.
The #fto-logs channel is used by any officer with the rank Officer II or higher to log any FTOs that they have been on. While FTO logs are not required to do after patrolling with a probationary officer, they are encouraged due to there being requirements on the number of FTO logs needed to get each rank. The following format is used in this channel:
Finished FTO Log:
FTO Log Number: (Log number that you are at)
User: (Your username)
Rank: (Your rank)
Supervising: (Username of the probationary officer you were patrolling with)
Time: (Length of the log)
Proof: (This should include both a screenshot of the signoff message from #radio-channel and a screenshot of you with your probationary officer)
An example of a correctly formatted FTO log can be found here.
The #inactivity-notice channel is used by all members of the NYPD to inform HRs that they will be inactive for a certain period of time for a reason outside of Roblox. The following format is used in this channel:
User: (Your username)
Starts: (Date when the inactivity begins)
Ends: (Date when the inactivity ends)
Reason: (Reason as to why you will be inactive)
Inactivity notices will be either approved or rejected by a high rank through an emoji reaction, however almost all of them are approved as long as the correct format is followed.
An example of a correctly formatted inactivity notice can be found here.
Punishment Logs
The #punishment-logs channel is used by high ranks to punish rule violations. The following format is used in the channel:
:NYPD: | Punishment
HR: (Your username)
User: (Punished user’s username)
Reason: (Reason as to why they are being punished)
Action: (Punishment)
Proof: (Proof of the user doing the action being punished)
Note: The :NYPD: emoji is replaced by the :IA: emoji if the HR is a member of IA
An example of a correctly formatted log can be seen here.
