Enhanced NYC Science Scope and Sequence (2015)

These are the Enhanced NYC Science Scope and Sequences for New York City, K-8 and 6-12. Each contains a suggested sequence of units, essential questions, standards, and support materials.

New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS)

In the fall of the 1718 school year, New York State began a multiyear transition to a set of rigorous new standards.

Use the information provided by the New York State Education Department to gain information on the new standards and the transition plan.

Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)

The New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS) were closely modeled after the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

The NGSS website contains detailed information on the three dimensions, details on performance expectations, and videos.
