NYC Teens for 9 Million Reasons strives to achieve a more accessible volunteering platform for high school students. Our volunteers help out at the 9 Million Reasons food pantry located in Long Island City. Our mission is to help organize volunteers by issuing sign-ups, assigning tasks, and communicating actively!
Apart from our mission of helping run the food pantry, NYC Teens for 9 Million Reasons also has the unique objective of working with the children of the families who come to the food pantry. Our volunteers have opportunities to read books and make arts & crafts with the kids. We aim to provide underprivileged children with an outlet to explore their creativity.Â
